Finding the right counselor is hard!!

Friday, June 06, 2014

Warning: This blog discusses god. Just letting you know in case you want to skip it. I believe and nobody can take that away from me! No rude comments either!

I had a scary experience with asthma that scared me. In a way, it's a good thing because it made me more grateful but in a way, it's not such a good thing. Anyway, my counselor is leaving and she is trying to find someone else for me to work with. My one request is that they believe in God. It matters to me. Another counselor I saw asked me if it really mattered if they believed or not. Of course it does! I cannot talk to someone about God who does not believe and things I am full of it or disillusioned. That is basically my only request. I also do not want someone who will pretend just to appease to me to make me feel better. I need a real believer! :)

Good luck in finding a counselor who is a real believer. I don't blame you for having that request. For those of us who believe, it is second nature to discuss God and a non-believer surely wouldn't understand. Have a Sparkling Saturday!

It's a shame that I can't say anything about God in casual (and even not so casual) conversations. It's natural for me. I feel bad for the people that raise the biggest stink. Their lives seem to be shallow; their attitudes can use an adjustment; they don't seem very happy.
