I was adding a photo to my page and decided to read an entry I posted from 2012 about motivation. It reminded me why I began this journey: to lower my bp, overcome family history of heart disease and fit into a dress.
Well, I needed that reminder since I haven't lost a pound in over 3 weeks after beginning again. I know I'm healthier than I was 3 weeks ago and I'm weight-training for the first time in my life. The former are my underlying motivations but my motivation of the moment is to pass along a healthy lifestyle for my son. He is already eating my bananas, celery and carrots for snack foods before I can get to them. That is worth as much a pound of weightloss anyday.
