More Than One Way

emoticon My scale has been "stuck" for six weeks at least. It's hard to believe, I'm doing different things to improve the outcome, but LOL there it is. It's Ground Hog Day again. I have decided to try to give up my addiction to the scale for a month...
I've chosen a pair of pants that almost button up and a snug, tight shirt to use as measurement instead. I expect those clothes to get looser as time goes by. (My tape measure will also be my new go-to reinforcement. The scale is not going to get me down, it will no longer sabotage my spirit and determination. emoticon

I moved my scale to a different room. I'm trying to stick to weighing-in only every two weeks. In the past I noticed that obsessed over the numbers on the scale everyday. I'm trying to watch the pants as well. I have a pair of dress pants for work that are uncomfortably tight. My goal is to feel better in those pants in the next 2 months, put them away for the summer and then hopefully need a new pair of pants by fall!

It's hard not to weigh every morning. I'm addicted to the scale. But I think if I can hold out for the month...I will feel better about any subtle progress I make! emoticon
