Pyramid Workout on Trainer (Day 72 of 100)

As my husband is still working long hours, I had to do this morning's workout at home. But, it was a GREAT workout!
I once again pulled my trainer outside & set up my bicycle. I 'made up' the following pyramid workout: the 'fast' workouts are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 minutes each. In between I rode easy for 1 minute (though I rode easy 2 minutes twice). I also started with a 5 minute warm up and ended with a 5 minute cool down. That put my workout right at 45 minutes and I burned 360 calories according to my HRM!
While I rode, I watched my mama mockingbird. She has a nest in a bush in our backyard and her 3 little babies hatched this weekend. She is busy, busy, busy!!! Then, just as I was finishing up, a baby bluebird appeared in my backyard. I think the mama might have pushed it as it can't fly! It's been hopping around the backyard with mama fretting over him. The mama birds are both upset & trying to scare each other off! Anyway, the baby bluebird found a nice place to 'hide' and mama is bringing him food. I hope he is ready to fly soon! I am worrying about him.
