Not such a hot month for me compared to last.
If we look at the big picture, it's not half bad for fitness, but I wanted to beat March.
Food needs A LOT of work and thus waist measurement is up. Sad face.
Steps: 270,664 (down from 315, 233)
Average steps per day: 9,022 (down from 11,258)
Fitness Minutes: 3,355 (down from 4,462)
Calories Burned: 19,563 (down from 22,012)
Average calories burned per day: 652 (down from 786)
Tried to generally be on plan, but did not track; it has definitely been a problem. I do well all day and then screw it up by eating everything I can find late at night, even when I eat a late dinner. I have to learn how to STOP myself! ...Especially when my son brings things from the ice cream shop like a half-pint of accidentally-melted peanut butter mini cups that "had to" find a home at our home (and then in my belly) lest they be thrown out. Sigh.
I need to put good strategies in place and not have my most-commonly-scarfed-endlessl
y foods in the house, and using major portion control insistence with myself when it comes to the ubiquitous pints of ice cream. Unfortunately that means nuts and chocolate and anything else sweet and certainly no making cookies. Sad face again. But it's time to get REAL for May (already have a good start) because April not so much:
WEIGHT & MEASUREMENTS
Starting weight: 133 / Ending weight: 138ish (too many carbs/too much sodium! So much for maintenance!)
Waist: up 1 inch to 28
Hips: down 1/2 inch to 38 1/2 - this could be a measuring fluke or my weights paying off somewhere at least!
Bust: up by 1 1/2 to 38 1/2 God, I love the Champion sports bra I measured in! Remind me to wear it more often. (It works as a real bra, too, with an underwire and no uniboob, although not for low-cut stuff because it's full full coverage. I couldn't find it again recently at the sports store when I needed one size down and I nearly cried).
I made it to Body Pump once at the end of the month... wish I'd found more time for that every week! It is difficult with my schedule (always working the desk while class is on...)
My gym friend was on vacation, and I've been mostly lazy I guess. It's been hard to push myself into staying after my shift to get a good workout in, although I have at least managed to get some good strength training in three days a week. I'm super proud that my max leg press machine weight is at 250 now (and climbing next week!)
I'm going to kick these numbers out of the park for May (or some sort of mixed sports metaphor like that)
