12 Month Makeover - May

Update time! I'm very excited to start the second goal in my 12 Month Makeover. The hardest part this month was deciding what goal to start. Turns out there are a lot of things that begin with 'm'. Muscle, motivation, moderation, mornings (as in stop hitting snooze and put the morning to good use) the list goes on and on. I finally settled on a goal that will ease me into my June goal.
May - Miles
May's goal is to walk/run at least 5 miles per week. This will not only help me prepare for training (I'd like to run another half marathon in the future) but it will help fill increase my cardio, which has been non existent lately.
I'm lucky to have a friend on board that is going to help make May totally awesome with May Mini Missions. What is a Mini Mission you ask? It is a challenge (aka: 20 squats, 5 push ups, 15 jumping jacks, etc) that we assign each other to complete. Not only does it mix things up and keep it interesting, it is a good reminder that I've got a good friend supporting me and helping me reach my goals.
