I have been stuck. I have been feeling lazy. My favorite thoughts have been "I don't want to" or "I will do it later". At first I thought, like everything else, this too will pass.
Guess what? It hasn't. I am stuck. Wait - no I am not stuck. I am backsliding.
So I have been searching for motivation. Something that will jump out and make me feel that desire again. I've been reading motivational blogs, articles, listening to motivational speakers, music ----- it isn't happening. I bought new running shoes - they are still in the box.
Discovery? Denial is a tricky thing. All that listening, wishing, hoping doesn't work without action. Those motivational things are great tools - but like the lawnmower - they don't cut the grass if they aren't turned on and put into action.
Thank you spark friends who gave me some tips. Soooo Right here, right now I am taking action.
I am making a list. I am going to do the things on the list. Yep..... JUST DO IT!!!
Sooooo..... This is virtual me at my current weight.
AND..... This is virtual me when I get to my goal weight
My list today (as of now)
1. go out for a walk on my lunch hour
2. drink all my water
3. have a minimum of 10,000 steps on my fitbit
4. forgive myself and move on
Tomorrow will be another list......and more action......
