4/3/2014 DASH continues

Still doing well with the DASH diet. I'm finding ways to adapt it for DH; only occasionally do I need to make two separate dinners for us. (I often just make some frozen mashed potatoes to add to his plate and that covers it).
I did have a very stressful day yesterday, and realized when I was eating my 4th rugulah that this was really not helping. In fact, I felt so foggy and out of focus the rest of the day, and I know it was from having all that extra sugar and fat that I'm not used to anymore. At least I was able to stop at that point and get back on track!
Today I AM back on track, and am happy to be back with my new normal way of eating. I am still dropping pounds slowly and steadily, and plan to keep going! I still think I will make it to goal weight before the end of October.
