Today I tried a new breakfast recipe (spinach and feta scramble http://recipes.sparkpeople.com
48863). Though it kept me full and tasted good, I was unable to finish it due to my aversion to eggs (the recipe was excellent). For a snack I had veggies dipped in balsamic vinaigrette and for dinner I will prepare fish and a side of broccoli and onions.
Even though my parents bring cheap unhealthy food into the house, does not mean I have to eat it or binge on it. I can prepare healthy alternatives. Exercising is proving to be a bit difficult, due to the fact that the only space available is in the living room and every time my mother sees me doing anything other than schoolwork she barks at me. I love exercising when I am home alone and nobody is around to watch me. I can put on Glee or listen to music and make myself look silly to my heart's content!!
Right now I am eating an orange instead of a slice of strudel! Yay me!
