So, my life is still a work in progress. (shocking, right?) :)
I have been thinking about writing this post for a while now, and I have a moment or two. I'm sure I'll miss some stuff, but here's a stab at it.
There are some good things from SP that have stuck with me, even as I've been on the weight upswing. The good things are:
I drink more water than I used to; usually 60-80 oz per day!
I drink WAY less soda than I used to (now *maybe* 1 a week, rather than 1 or more/day... and most months it's more like 1 or 2 per month!)
I still track my food at least 50% of the time
I wear my pedometer faithfully. I'm on pedometer #3. (now actually a Fitbit - I love tracking my sleep, too!)
Speaking of, I usually get at least 7 hours of sleep each day
I try to go for walks at lunch - most times I succeed. I park farther out in parking lots more often. I take stairs instead of elevators when possible (I do have a fondness for escalators, though)
There are things I don't do as well as I did when I was first using SP:
I don't stick within my calorie range very well (I was *super* diligent for my first year or so)
I forget to log into SP and get my points
And there are some recent (w/in the last 12-18 months) failures, too:
I don't exercise regularly
I am back to my cookies-brownies-cheesecake addictions... I have given back into the sweet tooth.
There's more, I'm sure, but I should get back to work. :)
I have guests this weekend, and am going to lunch with a friend on Monday (state holiday, I have that day off). I need to be making product for various shows in my future. But I also want to attack my freezer and pantry. Actually, it's spring - I'm totally in a purge frame of mind - I really want to toss a bunch of the junk in my house. But I need some time to do that... anyway, just random thoughts and some percolating plans! :)
