HM training notes - Tuesday 5 miler

This week has evaporated! I was able to get in a 5 mile run on Tuesday, but haven't had time for anymore runs this week. Subbing has been great (really wonderful classes this week), but the time away from home and my training has been challenging. Oh well, a weekend full of laundry and housework isn't so bad:) Probably no long runs this weekend, though:( My husband and older daughter will be out of town on a father-daughter trip, so no one will be around to watch the twins while I take off for a couple hours. I could always use the elliptical machine, but it gets pretty boring after 45 minutes... Oh well - life... It's important to be flexible.
I have been able to keep up with my 30-day kettlebell challenge. The lunges have been brutal! For a few days, my legs felt like hamburger!! But all is better now :) (The missed running days have probably been a blessing in disguise in order to recover from the lunges.)
Tuesday's running stats: 5.04 miles in 54:49 with a 10:53 pace. My pace time has really been bugging me - next week I plan to push my runs a bit more and have pace times in the 9's.
