Four Years Later

Friday, March 21, 2014

Well, back in 2010 I needed to lose 5 pounds so I "rejoined" Spark People. That was a success and I've been doing quite well for the past 4 years. I started running and ran two Half Marathons. The second one was at Big Sur and I ran it with plantar facitis. That took me about 3 months to recover and then my back started giving me troubles. So basically I had to quit running and since then I've been gradually putting back the pounds on. UGH

So NOW here I am at 140 and needing to lose 10 pounds! My goal is to drop those pounds by the time we go to Death Valley the week after Easter.

I know that if I count my calories, exercise 20-30 minutes a day and now bikeride I can do it.

Just wanted to post this for accountability sake.

Gosh those pictures I posted back in 2008 are priceless! My kids are all grown up now. I guess I had better change those pictures!

I have been on Sparks 4 years also, I wanted to lose weight for my class reunion, and a cruise, I had no problem, but on this cruise, I gained back about 5 of those pounds, and now I am close to 10 pounds over what I was, it just creeps up like dark, emoticon
I need something to motivate me, I work on it, track food, and I have had no candy or sweets since Lent began, and I think I am down 1 pound since January 1,

I know running is a real calorie burner, but, I just can not seem to get the hang of it, I do walk fast, and try to walk fast on my treadmill, but no running,
anyway, good luck, we can do this.

and speaking of pictures, my red hat picture was taken I believe in 2009, that is 5 years, I need to find a new one to downdload
