Moderation over deprivation

I need to make friends with food....

So this week, I have come back to SparkPeople. And I have come back with new vision. I am going to allow myself to eat. And I am going to allow myself to do so without guilt. And I am just going to try to make good, healthy choices because it's good for my body to do so.

I had a slice of thin crust veggie pizza today.....and I thoroughly enjoyed it. And I might have to be careful with what I have for dinner tonight, but I don't have to feel like it's the end of the world. I am proud of the decision that I made. I feel satisfied. It was delicious. And I need to learn how to eat to lose....and better yet, how to eat to keep it off. Deprivation is not the answer. Perhaps moderation will be the key!!

My goal for the remainder of March is just basically going to be to get back in the swing of things:

* Drink more water
* Add steps to my day
* Log everything
* Run twice a week
* Strength train

I can do this!!1

    This is finally what I am learning. I came home the other day and the hubby had cinnamon rolls. I really wanted one so I had one. Didn't screw up my whole day like it used to either. Before I would've eaten the cinnamon roll and then like junk the rest of the day. But I didn't do that this time. Moderation is key. I can have cinnamon roll, maybe not everyday but every once in awhile is ok. emoticon
