No progress, but at least no retreat either.

I weighed yesterday, and have not lost any weight in about 3 weeks. It has been pretty stressful though. I lost a very dear friend from work unexpectedly. She died March 2nd, from what I believe was either a heart attack or stroke. I know I have been emotionally eating. I have continued taking my Qsymia, and I am still riding the recumbent bike. I suppose that is what has kept me from gaining weight back, which is a good thing.
I went to the store yesterday and bought some unsweetened almond milk to try. It is not too bad. I can tell it isn't sweetened, and it tastes different from skim milk, but with only 30 calories in a cup, I can handle the difference. I also tried some Post Great Grains cereal, the one with pomegranate and blueberry, and it was pretty tasty as well.
My biggest struggle continues to be with veggies. Fruits to some degree, but I like bananas and grapes. When I shop next weekend, I'm going to look for some pink grapefruit. Also some frozen collards...greens, greens, greens.

I know I can do this! I just have to stay focused!

    Rebecca,

Life style change is never easy. Results is what we always want to see. It is great to see those pounds come off. We have to remember that there are other ways to gage success. What we eat and how we fix it is important. How active we are. How our clothe fit. There are so many variables. One thing I have to remind myself is, and it is my mantra, that is to "Stay The Course!" You are not alone....You can do this!
