3 mos since diagnosis

i had my 3 mo appt with the doctor this week. I managed to lower my AIC from 9.3 to 6.1. As a result, I came off glicazide as dr is now concerned about potentional hypoglycemia emoticon Credit to SP's diabetic nutrition track it taught me how to balance meals in order to minimize BS increases.

I was able to get my blood pressure from 132/85 to 116/76. emoticon

I even managed to lower my cholesterol slightly, unfortunately not enough to avoid going on a statin med. emoticon

I worked out 11 times in the month of February, 8 of which were in the last 2 weeks of the month and had a total of 363 minutes of exercise. Although I did not do 10 minutes daily, this averaged 13 minutes per day.

Weight was done a pound for the month. I say 'a' pound but I mean "only one? Are you kidding me?" I don't understand how I can make such great progress in so many areas and not on the scale.

Well, it's a new month and I have recommitted to exercising daily as well as maintaining the good BS and BP
