Your gonna need them if you try this ab circuit I did this morning. I’ve gotten very complaisant over the past few years with my strength training. Pretty much always the same thing. I finally got the message that if I want to see any real change in my body I needed to try some new things. So I incorporated some new ab exercises and did them as a circuit three times. At the end of each circuit I jumped on the treadmill for about 2 minutes before repeating. It definitely challenged me. Give it a try!
Flat Bench Leg Raise with hip lift at end .. 25 reps
Russian Twists with 7 lb. medicine ball .. 25 reps per side
V-Ups .. 10 reps
Cable Crunch (I used a band and wrapped it around a doorknob..worked just as well) .. 20 reps
Plank with alternating knee to elbow .. 20 reps per side
I finished up with planks. 3 in a row for 1 minute each with a 30 second rest in between each one.
