Let it go and go work out!

Soooooo, Tuesday was a rough day at work and then I took my son to his basketball game. Somewhere between home and the end of the game he lost his hearing aid. UGH! Frustration. I went home turned on the tv, got up and raided the refrigerator. There was a piece of leftover kielbasa in there and I ate it. Then the sodium kicked in and I drank 2 glasses of water (big glasses). Then I had a Dove dark chocolate promise. My calories ended up over for the day and no workout.
Wednesday, again no workout - long stress filled day at work, topped off by meeting friends for coney island dogs and a hockey game. Yep, my plan to have one plain dog ended up being two with chili AND cheese, and the side of chips. At the hockey game, it was the popcorn that my date had and I shared washed down with a diet mountain dew. Again, over my calorie count, no workout.
Today I got to work and there were those damned bagels and cookies. I broke a piece off one of the cookies (they are big cookies) only to go back and have the rest of the cookie. Then it was a piece of chocolate that was in the kitchen. BUT I did eat a healthy lunch. I AM going to workout tonight, even though I'd much rather go home and not get back out in the snow. I AM going to do my best at the gym and not just go through the motions. AND I am going to have a healthy supper.
Let all that stuff go. Stop with the negative self talk. Come on Barb, we don't have time for that! We have a goal to reach. Drop that extra baggage and put your efforts into something that will help you get to where you want to be!
Girl, you are awesome. You ARE going to get there. Besides that, there may be someone at the gym who needs to be inspired by you tonight when you wear your shirt drenched in that bucket of sweat.
