I've finished both challenges. Taming Your Sweet Tooth Challenge was definitely more of a challenge for me than Healthy Cooking. Healthy Cooking is fun. Getting my devilish sweet tooth under control demands constant diligence. One slip and I have to start over getting the craving for sugar out of my system.
My plan to keep my sweet tooth under control is simple really.
1. No diet sodas - period. That's the one thing I must eliminate.
2. Track everything I eat - planned and unplanned meals and snacks
3. Count carbs every time I eat anything
These are the three things I do when I am most successful. Nothing elaborate here. Just simple, basic good sense. My next challenge will help me follow through.
