Perfection has thwarted my goals.

I've always been the type of person who does, 'all or nothing'. I research and have to do everything 'properly' and if I can't then I don't do it at all or put it on the back-burner for 'later'. Now I do what I can and realise a little bit of healthy eating and exercise is better than none. So what if I can't make the gym, don't throw the baby out with the bath water! lol If I can't make a regular walk I go as often as I can, when I meet a friend for lunch we walk before or after we eat, sometimes even both! My goal is to add as many healthy options into my days so that the 'bad' choices and habits get pushed out, they won't fit any more.
I slip off track every now and then (actually too often), but for the most part I eat the healthier options, raw as often as I can, clean, whole and unprocessed.
As far as exercise goes I'm fitting fun activities into my very busy lifestyle. Zumba classes, beach and country walks on the weekends, Irish Bush Dancing, as well as gardening and housework. I keep a set of small hand weights next to my arm chair and do some exercises as I watch TV in the evening.
I've got a long way to go but am getting closer every day!
