Its in 1:05 PM MST and I feel good. I made it through the morning just fine without my coffee. Now, I'm not saying that my coffee addiction is cured, I will have to approach the coffee subject each morning and make a decision for that day, and that day only. There are other things I like about coffee than just the caffeine... Like the warmness it brings, especially on a cold winter day. But if I can make it through a work day without relaying on the pick me up coffee brings, then I am all in!
I got a little hungry around 11:00 AM, so I ate an Atkins bar. I have those in my desk for these occasions.. They help with the sweet tooth, and give me a boost of calories to continue on until lunch time. This is such a better option than what the receptionist has in a bowl up at her desk.
I ate lunch at about 12:30 MST. It was actually left over lunch I already had in the fridge from yesterday. Some tuna and some pepperoni slices. (I try to watch my carb count, that's another goal of mine). I feel full... Not stuffed by any means, and if I would have had more to eat I probably would have. But I feel satisfied.
Oh, and before I forget! I have already drank 3 bottles of water! I barely get in 3 total in a normal day. But its refreshing. Kind of weird craving to be having, but its certainly not a bad one!
I'm not going to lie... I'm still sceptical of this... but I am dedicated to giving this 8 weeks. It really can't hurt me to give it at least that!
