Getting Through the Holidays.

Sunday, December 22, 2013

Hi Spark Friends!
I hope everyone is doing well. I've been trying to stay on track this holiday season. I'm still getting to the gym as often as I can. (My work schedule was temporarily shaken up a bit, I cannot wait to return to normal). Food temptations are everywhere, but I've done a good job at resisting most of them (no one is perfect, especially this time of year. Lol!).
I am just down because this is yet another holiday season that I am spending alone. Yes, I have my wonderful daughter who is the love of my life, and my loving family and some good friends. However, there is no one that has any interest in dating me. Meeting someone is so impossible! Time to face facts.. I'm a 35 year old single mom, destined to be alone for another year.
Ugh! Well, sorry for being a downer. I hate feeling like this. I refuse to end this blog on a down note. So... I will say that this morning, I felt GREAT during the body combat class! Talk about a stress reliever! In case anyone was wondering, my ribs are finally healed from my fall a few months ago, *whew, that was no fun!*.
Happy Holidays All!! emoticon emoticon

Enjoy the time with your daughter while she is young - they grow sooo fast - mine are 27 and 30 years old. They have great memories of us making cookies & brownies for Christmas and decorating the tree the way they wanted. You are blessed to have your family and friends.

You will meet someone - so I wouldn't give up - 35 is still young :)

Hope you have a Merry Christmas and good job on doing your work outs during the holiday. emoticon
