The SECRET to weightloss. It always cracks me up when I see these ads all over the internet. Magic pills, wraps and gimmicks galore. After trying every diet fad there is, I know one diet secret that's works without a doubt!

1. Eat clean! Filling your body with veggies, fruits, lean proteins, complex carbs and healthy fats should be your number one priority. Stay away from fast food, cookies, processed foods and I guarantee a positive change in not only the way you look but the way you feel!

2. WORK out! If it doesn't feel like work, it's not going to make a difference. You need to feel your body getting hotter. Your sweat trying to keep you cool and your breath getting heavier and heavier. 30 mins of this activity daily will do a world of wonders but if you really want "magic" 60-90 mins is the way to go. 20 min warm up/burning sugar with strength training and spend the rest burning fat with cardio!

3. Supplement! People neglect supplementation so much because they get results by eating clean and working out, not realizing that they are missing out by omitting them. Supplements are exactly that, they are to meant to add to and improve your current weight loss plan. They are not "magic diet pills" that allow you to eat McDonald's and keep you losing weight. Some of the best supplements are branched chain amino acids which help preserve lean muscle mass during a change in your diet and improve recovery and rebuilding after a hard cardio/strength training session. Fish oil/conjugated linolic acid (CLA) are awesome because they are healthy fats and I've always know that good fats wash away bad fats. There are so many studies showing how these two decrease fat in your body's composition and they are also great for your hair, skin and nails. Last but not least, a multivitamin is absolutely essential because chances are, you're not getting everything you need in your diet even if you are eating 100% clean! This is especially so if you plan on eliminating a food group from your diet ie. no/low carbs or no meat/dairy.

My personal favorite supplements are Advocare's MNS3(multivitamin), Catalyst(branched chain amino acid), Omegaplex (fish oil), and GNC's CLA. I am not a doctor but the information I provided came from lots of personal research, my personal experience with weightloss and the journeys of the many women I have coached. If you're ever interested in trying Advocare products, I would be happy to talk to you more since I am a distributor. If you're not, I still hope you find this blog helpful. I know there are plenty of products out there that work quite well but for me, Advocare is the best!

    How refreshing to see another person share this! I once had someone ask me what, aside from eating right and exercising, could they do to lose weight. My head just started spinning. There are no shortcuts to success. Thank you for posting this!
