New Pics and the RenFest

Still staying super busy on the weekends with the Old Guy. We saw tons of sites in Baltimore and Washington. I was able to get two Christmas trees up and decorated before Thanksgiving so I could concentrate on cooking and cleaning then going to the Texas Renaissance Festival closing weekend. It was soooo packed. It usually take 1.5 hrs to get there but this time it was 3 long hours! Good thing Victor was there to keep me entertained. The kids didn't like it very much. He kept playing "old man music" off his iPad. Even I have to admit his taste is way too retro, as in Easter Parade by Judy Garland! I love Pitbull and Rihanna! He is super sweet though and bought me a red leather choker that I'm wearing in the pic. He also bought my two girls and their friend necklaces from the fair. He also bought me a necklace that was a crystal heart with a "W" on it. I was puzzled as to what the W was for? Winning??? Duh, he said it was for his last name! I felt pretty dumb that I didn't realize it and was kind of in shock. I started turning red and got an instant headache. I guess we're getting closer and closer every week. He's so good for me and such a compliment machine. I miss his fuzzy self when he's back at his place. My oldest daughter even wanted to buy him a Christmas present! I'd say that's progress. Next weekend is Dicken's on the Strand, which is a Victorian festival in Galveston. We will be there along with my 18 yr old in costume. Then on Dec. 14 we all head off to Taos to go play in the snow! My life is such a whirlwind. I used to never go anywhere and now it seems I can't stay put! Gotta step up the excersize to get ready for snow activities.
