Feeling great even though the sickness still rages

Well, it seems half the people I know are battling this sickness - chills, fever, cough, body aches. This is my 2nd weekend with it, which really stinks, but I'm not letting it get me down. Yesterday I did nothing! And wow, did my tracker prove that :) But today after lounging in front of the tv watching football I decided I was going to walk. Since I haven't had much energy lately and it's freezing cold outside, I thought I'd do my indoor track (it's super small - 25 steps thru the tv room, kitchen and front hall way!). I decided I would do 100 laps and I did. And despite the headache, it felt really good and turns out that my walk was 1.25 miles!

Then I got on Spark b/c I love reading people's blogs & love checking in on my spark friends. Gotta say, I LOVE my spark friends! Talk about a community of people who just lift you up and encourage you - never put you down or make you feel worthless. This is such a wonderful place to be. How wonderful to one day meet everyone in person - okay, that probably will never happen, but still would be fun! So here's a shout out to everyone who takes the time to comment on blogs, send goodies, "like" awards and steps we make ~ You're all super special and deserving of great things ... especially on your weight loss journey or your maintenance. Thank you for all you do.

And I also want to thank myself for sticking to this new routine - today is the start of my 4th month. I am soooo happy with the results I'm seeing and yes, I'm proud of myself too. This is the first time in my life that I haven't been putting myself down constantly. I'm learning to love myself again. And it's all a great feeling!
