Here are some more fun pictures of the last day that we were in Rome, different neighborhoods and some beautiful buildings. It was the only day of our trip that it rained so we were really lucky.
The Spanish Steps
Some very Expensive shoes, if you look closely you can see that they are 680E. which is over 700 dollars! I will take 2- not!
The inner courtyard of a Museum Pamphilji- a hidden gem. This was amazing, it was still a private home in part of the mansion, and they had made the other portion into a museum. They had amazing artwork by several famous painters and the rooms were beautiful. No photos were allowed inside but I did get a few on the outside. The house was very plain from the outside, looked kind of like a fortress so you would never know the beauty that waited for you inside.
3 Caravaggio's in one of the many churches that we visited.
One of the many churches in Italy, they are beyond beautiful.
The Trevi Fountain was probably my most favorite place in all of Rome and since it was close to the apt that we stayed in, we visited it every day.
I hope you enjoyed walking in Rome with me once again. Thanks for stopping by!
Just a fascinating place and looks like you had fun walking in the rain even! Can't miss any of that because of rain, right?! Always loved that fountain, in all the movies it has been in! Those shoes are very pretty, but you wouldn't catch me in those high of heels, no matter how much they cost! Too hard on my feet and knees! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful vacation with us...meant a lot to see it through your eyes and camera! 2709 days ago
Just beautiful again Holly, thank you. Singing in the rain in Rome, so romantic, and being by the Trevi Fountain. Hope you tossed in some coins and made some wishes. Maybe next time you can go back for those shoes, but I bet you could not climb all the steps in those. 2709 days ago
I do love Rome...thank you for sharing your photos with us! Seeing the Trevi Fountain, I need to add that I never tire of watching the movie "Three Coins in a Fountain". Although it is a little cheesy, it is a happy 1950s type movie which makes me smile.
Love those shoes - I bet it was Lovely in that mansion I can just imagine - I forgot you had the kitchenette so you were able to prepare meals , cool ! The fountain is gorgeous and you look beautiful !!! Hugs K 2709 days ago
