Seasonal Challenge Processed Food

On Wednesday we had to run errands for the business, I was craving Wendy's but I decided to stop to this middle eastern restaurant instead. I also decided to look for better options on the menu...no fried etc. I chose the chicken wrap with veggies, hummus and bread side and also the Mediterranean salad for a side. I shared the hummus with my business partner and ate half of the wrap. The salad was phenomenal, I have never had this salad....it was green and red peppers, cucumbers, parsley and an olive oil dressing. The dressing was just an added flavor it did not overpower the salad as some of those dressings do and it allowed the flavor and the textures of the salad to shine. That will be something that I try and make myself and add to my menu here at the Inn.
I think for my body to notice any changes in the amount of processed food that I eat, I would have to give it up for a week or two. I believe that will be something I try in the next week.
