This is a testament as to how my life seems to be a vicious cycle, but i have lost 50lbs in the last 18 months and feel positive that i am walking in a new direction with determination to succeed and enter wonderland(-100lbs) emoticon

How many of these have there been? Too many to count, always begun with commitment, enthusiasm, and great expectations. There have been many little victories, many battles won...but the war? The war has always ended in defeat.. The same 10, 20, 30 pounds lost over and over, They would probably add up to one million, if only I had $1.00 for every one of them, i would be a millionaire!! I joined Sparkpeople for the firs time in 2007 and have left and returned several times, but not until 2011 did i become involved with the community teams. I lost 23 pounds by December 2011, but as always had my holiday set back regaining 13 of those pounds. Which brings us to the present, still needing to lose 8 pounds to be back to that December 2011 weight. I know the scale is not everything, that who we are is not defined by how much we weigh, but I have health issues that are a result of my poor eating and exercise choices. Type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, joint pain, all of which could be lessened or cured with weight loss, so the battle is on and I am going to dig deep to find that ultimate victory, by making healthy lifestyle changes, finally, finally win that WAR!

TWELVE WEEK PLAN:
EXERCISE emoticon emoticon emoticon
minimum 30 min exercise x 5 days
yoga to be done in the morning and at bedtime
stationary bike to be ridden during Wheel of Fortune(I watch it every day)
st and Robert Ferguson 12 minute fat burner video on Thursday and Saturday
recess! golf (my passion) at least 1 x week
NUTRITION emoticon emoticon emoticon
eating at home from a weekly menu plan, having 1 preselected resturant meal a week
limiting alcoholic beverages to 4 oz of red wine(really, no joke, to combat anemia) and 2 lite beers a weekend(included in calorie count
cooking 1 new or revised recepie a week
REWARDS emoticon emoticon emoticon
for planning and going by weekly menu=rent 1 movie that i missed at the theater
for having a monthly loss at the scale=1 big screen movie(we have to go out of town for this treat)
for weekly loss at the weigh in=1 item for golf bag/ie:balls, tees, socks, visor
for meeting my exercise goals for 1 month =a new charm for my Brighton charm bracelet
(started when i reached the 20 pound mark 2011)
reach my goal=150=-122 lbs=1 week vacation at a golf resort
