What I want to happen in next seven days

I want to increase my daily exercise time from 15 minutes to 20. I want to stop struggling with wanting to snack so much between 6 and 8 at night! I have experimented with eating different things earlier in the day to help with this but nothing seems to help! I did the eat an apple if it's true hunger but keep on craving after eating that. I feel like I have made great strides in almost all other areas of healthy living but not there! Next week is going to be better for me. That is my goal.

    Is it a specific or general craving? One thing I've done is keep things on hand that I can substitute for something I crave--whole grain pita chips for salty, single serving bags of yogurt covered pretzels. Cookies that are thin and I can have 3-5 as one serving, chocolate Skinny Cow bars. I always plan for enough calories in the evening to have one of these snacks. It has helped a lot.

    Another suggestion is to do something with your hands that you can't do if you are eating. Needlework, puzzles, scrapbooking, whatever hobby you like best. This has helped me too.
