Moving right along

Everything has been going pretty good. I am in a defined routine with calories and exercise. I am in one of those coasting moments where it seems too easy. I know that there will be roadblock down the road somewhere but I am ready to face it.
I have lost 35lbs so far and I am about a third of the way to my goal. I am extremely proud of myself. I am 6 feet tall so people are just starting to notice the weight loss. It feels really good.
I am looking forward to buying clothes in an average size store (well not pants with my height but luckily I wear mostly dresses). I have always been able to wear tops but some shorts and dresses in a regular size would be great.
Exercise has been going well. I started out walking. I have progressively gotten faster and faster to keep my heart rate up. I now jog for a couple of minutes and then continue speed walking. It's funny how when the endorphin's get going that you don't notice pain. I came home last night aching in every leg joint and 2 blisters on the bottom of feet. The pain just makes me proud that I did it.
I hope everyone else is doing well on their journey as well. I would recommend that if you are just joining that you find a good group you enjoy. I have joined the 100+ lbs to lose group. They are very active! I have been doing the biggest loser challenge. I don't comment a ton yet but I do go on everyday and read what new was said. It can really make a huge difference in your weight loss journey!
