In a Word, Dedication.

Dedicated is something that I obviously have not been in the past month. Since the last time I was on Spark People I gained back the 4.25 pounds that I had lost, and let my exercising fall by the way side. I might have made up a few excuses here and there. I mean, come on. I made a move over the weekend in August. And it takes a couple of weeks to recover from that, right? So I couldn't exercise. And then I started my Senior year in college (YAY!) and was (am) extremely busy. I had to eat to keep my energy up and was so tired from the long days that I needed to rest. No exercise. Well, I made excuses all the way to the scale and found that I had gained weight. Big surprise. So I'm here again to remind myself, and others, that dedication is the only way to get it done. I'm beginning week two of being healthy and working out, and so far it's going good. I lost three pounds last week! ; )
