Digital vs Analog.

Sunday, September 15, 2013

Got a new scale for my DietBet. I stepped on it and then my analog scale. Not sure which one is correct, but my digital scale is showing 5 lbs heavier than the analog scale.

Weight loss is all relative. As long as both numbers go down, the actual number isn't important.

I ate a bit more freely today. Ate a sandwich, which I don't normally eat bread, especially bread with roast beef, onions, cheese, mushrooms, dipped in Au Jus. Also got a few 'healthy' treats for desserts, but turns out the Chocolate Truffle Muffin Tops from Target aren't too good. The chocolate dipped bananas on the other hand.... YUM!

I'm pumped! I feel good about this. 9 days till the game begins.

The difference between analog and digital scale are how they measure and display the weight.

That analog is the kind that you step on, the pressure on the spring plate, and the needle moves to your weight on a dial.
Digital is the kind you step on, a pressure plate reads to a force sensor, and a number appears on a screen.

I had a salad after lunch today with some kind of Asian salad dressing I got at Winn Dixie yesterday since they had Ken's Salad dressing bogo free. It was pretty tasty. Your sandwich sounded good minus the onions. Not an onion fan. What's the difference between the two scales?
