Tracked it all even if it hurt

Well, it didn't hurt.
This week I not only accomplished exercise goals, but I tracked everything I ate every day. Yes, everything, even those two Klondike bars I ate one after the other on Friday afternoon. I think keeping track of everything, and not just skipping over my foray into ice cream, or adding a little too much sour cream to the chili, and so on, makes me more aware of what I am eating over all. Even if I am not perfect. My goal is everything in MODERATION. Yes, leaning toward lean meat and lots of fruits and veggies and healthy grains, but a cupcake once in awhile is okay too.
Today I found myself thinking, you know, I already had something sweet today, so maybe I'll have an apple for dessert instead of one of those Klondike bars, because they will still be there tomorrow if I want one.
Hmm, I think I just made another baby step.
