All about Jars

The Salads in a Jar have been working well for me. We ate all but one salad and it hasn't been a full week yet (I made that batch on Monday).
I'm keeping the last salad in there because I used a dressing that ended up being horrid, so I'm using it as my "How long until it starts wilting" experiment. There is Mixed Greens, Broccoli Slaw, Radishes and dressing of yuck in there if you started at the top and went to the bottom. We'll see if it lasts the week.
This week... Here's the line up. We bought Quart Mason jars because Dylan wanted bigger Salads.

In each of those jars, I will have lentils in mine, and Dylan will have chickpeas in his for some added protein/fiber source.
I found this really helpful last week. I always came under my calories for the day, and I like the variety.
It also gave me an excuse to use ALL The dried chickpeas we had and most the lentils too. Tired of seeing them in my cupboard.
Next.. I think I'll be doing oatmeal jars. I can just bring it to work and add hot water from our coffee machine.
I feel like a hipster with all these jars, but they are just so useful!
