Mental training

Sunday, August 18, 2013

This is the web pagefor the guy that has produced my mental training program.

Uneståhl was very early in mental training and coaching - I do have his course on tapes that I bought in the eighties. I never stuck with it then and never noticed any difference.
When he started it was mostly aimed at athletes and it is from that world he gets most of the researches he refers to in the book I use today "Integrated mental training".

There might be many programs out there, this I use because I got it in a project for female entrepreneurs I praticipated in some years ago. The stuff has moved from tapes to CD but it is the same.

I tried to do it when I got it too, should have been 2006 maybe, but could not persevere.

And now I am trying again - I have changed mhy opinion about myself this year - I suddely saw that I DO have a lot of perseverance, I have been logging in to Spark People consistently for four years, I have attended AA meetings and kept sober for eight years, maybe I am ready to pursue this course also... so far so good, I have done 22 days out of 150. And this first part was 28 minutes, I think the other parts are shorter, about 15-20 minutes a day.

And some days I do it twice - I do it in the morning and then when I put out the light at night, if I am not sleepy, I turn the CD on - and fall asleep before it is finished...
