Fat cat!

Monday, August 12, 2013

This is FAT CAT-----who lives with us---his real name is "Snoop"-
------is 13 yrs old!
-----is afraid of the Germans (as in dogs)-
--was a "rescue"----has lived with us for 8 yrs-
Not too much excitement in his life---lives on only 1 level of this house due to the fear of dogs-His diet is pretty much the same every day--listens to CBC radio---watches me SPARK however , and wonders how many of you have any of his relatives are living with you?-

So, I am looking out on a sunny, cool day , beginning here. There is good news--The tractor is fixed-was only some dirt somewhere in it-LOL--Son#4 fixed it!
The pump is still not working (to the lake)-Himself is waiting for son#3 to fix that!
The "broken home" is getting back together once again----I think!

And what does all this have to do with Sparking?---Well, I suppose one should not let all the crap going on in the world , get to one!---------kinda like "Fat Cat""----he just goes on, trusting that all will turn out for the best---stuff will get fixed----and if we work at Sparking, we will be healthy---
Hug yer cat-----walk that dog----smile at someone old---hug a pilot----and remember to use that solar dryer!

I have one of his cousins, named "The Prisoner" because his vet papers said he was "kitten #6". (BBC is wonderful for names).

And... I'm home... catching up on blogs now! Spark a great day tomorrow!

We have three of Snoop's relatives here. We are a cat only household as DH does not like dogs. The kids and I would like to have a dog, but I don't want the responsibility, so I enjoy other people's dogs. Our cats are Fluffy (about 6), Panther (3) and Fritz (2)

Nope, no Fat Cat relatives here either. My himself is terribly allergic to cats. Somewhat to dogs too but not so much as cats. I grew up with quite a few cats though as well as dogs. My dad was always complaining we had too many pets. I am sitting here with Indy under my feet and Menlo, my sheepdog at my side constantly pawing me to rub and pet him. I do that for a while, my shoulder and arm gets tired and starts to hurt and as soon as I stop, he is right back to pawing me to begin again. My dogs are both rescues and getting old, Indy is 12 and we have had for 4 years and Menlo 11 and we had had him for 10 years. Indy's nickname in our house is Fat Dog because the beagle in him makes him eat and want to eat all the time and he is huge. Trying to keep him away from Menlo's food (Menlo does not have that feeling to eat as soon as his food hits the floor) is a constant challenge!!

My friend has a cat and I get my cat fix when I am at her house. Her cat's name is Cupcake but should be Fat Cat. She is one huge cat and afraid of everything, especially the trash trucks in the morning!! LOL!!! Very sweet cat.

Menlo is again pawing at me to pet him. I have to learn to type with one hand!! LOL!!

No "SNOOP" relatives here, just Mr. Spot the Wonder Dog. Sounds like Snoop and he would get along, though! Mr. Spot just takes each day as it comes, trusts that he'll get his food, and of course, TREATS (just his Milk Bone biscuits and banana). Doesn't let anything EXCEPT thunderstorms bother him!

Glad the tractor is in working order now. PHEW.

HUGS and smiles, oh virtual one. It's Monday! We'll get thru it, right!

emoticon and VERY insightful blog today, Lynda! I agree totally with it and so glad all the things are getting fixed for you and Himself. Especially glad about the tractor!

Oh, and tell Snoop that unfortunately this household doesn't have any of his relatives living here...no offense but this household is a canine household and we don't have any of those either at this point. But we plan to soon...and it will be another collie. But I still like snoop and think he is very cute!

    Have a great day/week! emoticon

We have a cat, Joker, age 11. She rules the house
and sleeps where she wants. She likes to go
outside as long as the neighbor's Labs are inside.
Feed and water her and envy her the easy life of a cat.
