Yeah when you compare nutrition facts, Chipotle makes a McDonalds small fry and small cheeseburger look very healthy LOL I still eat at Chipotle but I do it smartly.
I take my boyfriend with me. We order 1 burrito. We get the brown rice, chicken, and some black beans and salsa. We skip the cheese, no sour cream because the chicken and the tortilla shell itself has way too much fat already :-/ Sometimes we'll get guacamole ON THE SIDE. They give you about 3 tablespoons of gucamole in the "small" plastic container. We split it into 3 and each have 1 tablespoon and throw the 3rd tablespoon away.
So if you do it that way, it's ONLY 590-650 some calories for the half burrito LOL Then rest of the day I have to watch what I eat like a hawk so my day balances. I love counting calories though because it's nice to know I don't have to swear off fast food forever... I just have to eat less of it :-P 2561 days ago
I can totally relate this. It tells me I am not the only one to "blow-it" in this matter. It also tells me not to beat myself up when it does happen. I am proud of the way you didn't fall for the same opportunity to "blow-it" the next night. That is definitely a step forward in reaching your goals. 2561 days ago
Onward and downward(scales). You are here :) that's a big plus .:)You are doing it girl :) I was tired tonight , I ate a snack , a cheese stick and some carrot sticks I had prepared. It helped tide me off till I got supper ready. preparing snacks ahead of time , now if I can keep that up , I will be all right :) all the best :) cheers :) 2561 days ago
well done! seems almost any "fast food meal" I think would be satisfying weighs in @ 1700 calories when it's all said and done. which is absurd for a daily range of 12-15 hundred to loose a little each week. NO wonder I got bigger by the mouthful! smart thinking today though no doubt, congratz to better choices 2561 days ago
