Beautiful Butterflies and Spark Coach

I'm baaacckkk!

Went shopping yesterday and bought LOTS of fruits and veggies. I need to have those options to stay away from the junk food that tempts me at work and at night.

Also signed up for the free week of SparkCoach - checking that out.

This is a good time to kick-start my healthy habits.

So the coaching program seems pretty neat. Has anyone else been using it?

    Good luck! Having delicious food to chose from really helps me stay on track. When there is little in the house that appeals to me, its much harder to stay with my healthy eating plan.

    It always helps to have what you need on hand, so great shopping. I have noticed recently, that preparing things ahead of time in portion amounts, has helped me a great deal.

    example: instead of putting my seeds in the coffee grinder when I want to throw them in something. I now have a jar in the frig ground and ready to measure out in 1/4 cup servings to be added to my smoothie in the AM or sprinkling on my salads through the day.

    I also washed and cut up my tiasian salad mix, dried and placed in bowl covered and put in frig, to measure out into 1 or 2 cup portions. Also, chopped celery into 1 cup servings, to add to smoothie or chopped finely into 1/2 cup servings to add to canned chicken breast, it makes the best chicken salad, also add 1/4 cup of onions and seasonings.

    Great stocking up on the F&Vs. I have found that best mindset for me when goodies appear at work is to think that if they weren't already on my food planned for the day, then I don't need them. Stick with your plan. emoticon emoticon

    I think it's a great idea to try the Spark Coach. I did the trail and got some ideas. I might sign up this winter when I don't mind being on the computer. Hope it works for you and way to get ready for the week by stocking up on fruits and veggies.

    I used SparkCoach for the free trial and personally didn't feel like it benefitted me much, but it's possible I just didn't use it to its full potential. I'd also been using SP for several years before trying it, so a lot of the info was a repeat for me. With all of that said, I've known people to LOVE it generally so hopefully that will be you. You've got this! =)
