Lake Summersville, WV

Saturday, July 20, 2013

Beautiful lake with clean and clear water. Awesome place for kayaking, rock climbing and even snorkeling and scuba diving. I didn't like the campground here too much, I prefer more rustic places, this here was more like a huge parking lot with a huge herd of RVs, trailers and campers with all their noisy appliances LOL Only 7 wooded spots just for tents!!! :(

DS#1 teaching DS#3 how to recover a kayak LOL:

I made two camping hammocks, one of them is here, the green one, very comfy!!

The red one is DH's and the yellow one-mine :)

And now no more talking, just some pretty vistas and some flora and fauna, too :)

What gorgeously beautiful pics. You take very nice ones. Do you have an underwater camera?? One looked like a frog, and another looked like two stick figured underwater. ALL the pics were nicely framed.

Wow - these are all so beautiful! I especially love the moths (or are they butterflies?) - one of them perfectly blends in with the tree bark. I also love that green plant that looks like little trumpets or maybe golf tees! The rocks are really awesome - I can't believe people were climbing up the face of that flat one. The sunrise/sunset and waterfall were lovely. Kayaking looks like a lot of fun - it's nice that your older son is teaching the younger one.
