8 Week Progress Pics

Friday, July 12, 2013

Ok, so it's been 8 weeks of HARRRDDDDD work, and clean eating. I've allowed myself one cheat night a week, however, this week I had 2 bad cheat nights on Monday and Tuesday. :( BUT I picked myself up, dusted myself off and got right back at it again. I'm not going to let a couple moments of weakness ruin all my hard work. Quitting is simply not an option. I never want to get back to feeling as miserable as I was (both physically and mentally).

I still have a lot of work to do on myself and it's a constant battle reminding myself that changes don't happen over night. I want to lose SO much more fat. I want my arms thinner and more defined, my tummy to lose what's left of the fat, and those THIGHS...those thighs NEED to go. I'm most self conscious about my inner and outer thighs. Those saddle bags haunt me to no end.

I've for the most part gotten myself to ignore what the scale says and focus mostly on how my clothes fit, and reaching my daily goals of eating healthy and getting my workouts in...always reminding myself that if I do those things, the rest will follow. So here you are...8 weeks of progress (with 2 more cheat nights than I usually allow).

Personally speaking--I think you looked better in the before pic. You had nice CURVES! And your thighs look fine in pic 2. I'm sorry to hear that you are that unhappy with them. I know everyone has different views about their body and what is attractive. I guess it's interesting to see blogs like this and feel like "whoa, this girl really isn't happy with her body?!?"--when you look great.
