New Found Love

I have a new found love for smoothies ! Not only are they a great way to get my fruits but they are filling, cold on these hot summer days, and delicious. An excellent addition to my snack or breakfast regimen and low in calories and fat. My first attempt was this morning after trying on my own to make one of the recipes from Spark Recipes and it turned out great. Hoping my daughter may like them too and we can share them together in the mornings.
As a side note I have also tried another recipe from Spark Recipes, the beef and broccoli. Came out great, didn't even need the rice because it was so filling on its own and that eliminated a great deal of the carbs too. Excited to share different recipes I find with my family so we can all eat a little more healthy. emoticon

    I love smoothies too. For breakfast most days I have what I call a Blue: 1 cup of frozen blueberries, 1 frozen banana, 2 cups fresh spinach, and a cup of almond milk. Plus enough water to make it "right". Smoothie ON lol
