Teenager in the house!
Wednesday, July 10, 2013
It is my daughters thirteenth birthday today - I officially have a teenager in the house. She has started to act like one already, she loses her patience with me and yelssa or rushes off in a tantrum, slamming the door.. I think it is good it makes me feel that she trusts me enought to take it, I will not abandon her or make her suffer just because she is negative.
I am wanthing a show aobut "the most strict parents in the world" where the concept is that two "Hopeless" teenagers, a boy and a girl (british) is sent to a very strict family somewhere in the world - yesterday it was India, I have also seen Israel, Libanon, USA - to "Learn". All the shows I have seen turns into showing that the "hpeless" teenager has som emotional trauma that he or she is hiding behind a destructive behaviour and once it gets acknowledged and dealt with they seemingly find balance.
My daughters behaviour is not destructive, it is more like hormonal. I am trying to be respectful both towards her and myself.
Food - a sort of fridge cleanout - mushrooms, onion, sugarsnap peas, rice spiced with parmesan. The girls had pancakes.
Today it is going to be hard to photograph the food - we will be away from hom at both meals...
