Food and the 4th

First of all, a big Happy Fourth of July to everyone! And a great big Thank You to all that are serving in the military (or who have served). I appreciate all that you do for this country!

My family and I celebrated with, well... food. But good food! We had grilled chicken, Ranch Style beans, red potatoes, and homemade bread. Oh, and homemade apple cobbler. BUT, I am proud to say that I only had one small serving of everything, and while soda was available, I did not "drink my calories." I had a bottled water. I have been making strides in these past few days watching my portion sizes, and feel that I have been making better judgment calls of how much to eat and not eat. I have another work out coming tonight before fireworks, so today has been a happy, healthy fourth of July! :)
