Trying to stick to it...

I've been doing pretty good with working out and eating better. My routine is to workout for 30 minutes during my lunch break, then work out another 30 minutes after work at the Y. But, today, I felt so drained. I felt like I could barely move. I know it has something to do with going to bed at 11:00. It's very important for me to get my rest. If I don't, I'm dragging the entire day. So anyways, I saw that it was 12:00 and I'm saying to myself, time to hit the gym. I really made myself go today. So I got on the treadmill and started walking at a slow pace. (about 2.8 mph) I did walk at an incline, but normally after five or so minutes, I get a boost of energy and finish strong. Well, that didn't happen to me today. I tried not to look at the clock. I just felt exhausted. I felt so tired that my last ten minutes, I lowered the incline and speed even more. I literally struggled through my workout. I can't wait to get home and relax. I'm going to bed early so I can wake up energized. I know I don't suppose to, but I keep getting on the scale hoping to drop another pound. I'm just going to continue doing everything the right way and I know it will pay off. The pounds may not be dropping the way I want, but my shirts are fitting more loose in my upper stomach area. I'm very happy about that. Anywho, I hope everyone had a productive week.     Make sure you take some time to get proper rest...my workouts suffer A LOT when I am feeling tired...good job on pushing through...something is better than nothing!

    Rest is very important, our bodies need it to prepare for the next day. I found clothes a better indication than the scales.

    Yeah you gotta get your rest! Sleep also has a major role in weight loss. Get some rest & keep it moving. You got this! emoticon Have a great weekend!
