79 to be a slug or not to be.....

Wednesday, June 26, 2013

I knew I had a meeting scheduled at noon - so got up early to knock out a mile on the treadmill. Got that done!

Then I had the opportunity to skip the noon meeting - so I got in my normal walk. Yippee! 9,150 steps on the fitbit and the evening isn't even here yet. Trying to decide if I want to be REALLY into this and walk another mile tonight --- or if I want to enjoy the opportunity to be a bit of a slug tonight. My knees are a little sore...

Then again, I could go for an all time high number on the fitbit......

Choices.

Okay, read these posts backwards... so, um, maybe you DID overdo a bit today. emoticon I'm having the same trouble - I have a great exercise day because I CAN, and then the next day... ouchy. I think we have to be kinder to our bodies, maybe. Sigh. It stinks to not be 20 anymore, doesn't it?

I love days like that - they don't come often (just not a morning person) but when they do, I love it! So glad you had a great day. Either way - if you are a slug (nursing your knee) or you get out there - I'm proud of you!

    Way to go!

Either choice seems to be a winner for you. You got in a lot of exercise. Sometimes we have to listen to our body calling for an evening of rest before restarting the next morning.
