I'm not sure if it is eating healthier foods or all the walking - but I noticed I have more energy. I am not content to just sit at night - I tWANT to be moving! When I got to work this morning, I actually sort of ran up the stairs ---- what?
Usually stairs are an issue for me with my knee. I normally hold the hand rail and I actually remember pulling myself up the stairs. I still held the hand rail - which is a habit - but jogged up them and wasn't even out of breath at the top!!!

Crazy!

I remember when I started walking, I was doing a few tenths of a mile and turning around to head back to the car with muscle cramps and aching knees. Now I'm doing a couple miles with no cramps - still aching knees - but it's a manageable ache! I'd gladly trade the knee ache for the increased energy and overall feeling good that I have gotten as a result!

While I haven't graduated to doing exercise videos yet, I'm thinking that next week I may try one to challenge myself. So, if you know any that don't require to much getting on the floor or things that are stressful to the knees, let me know. Maybe I'll start out with the videos on SP. Any recommendations?

Three more days (after today) til weigh in on the 24th. I am actually excited to see what Mr Scale says. And if he flashes a crappy number, I will kick him - but I won't care cuz "I FEEEEEEEEEEL Good!"

    The scale "ain't nothing but a number". Feeling good, being healthy - those are the things that matter most, I think. Walk Away the Pounds is a gentle start, but watch the kicks. If you can do the walking consistently, you can probably do WATP. In terms of the spark videos, Nicole sometimes punches it out, lol. Just whatever you do, do it gently to start. Be NICE to those knees! emoticon

    f you haven't heard of this guy and his wife, you may be interested in his story. Briefly, he is a personal trainer who intentionally gained over 70 pounds in like, 6 months by eating the "typical American diet". Then lost it all in the same amount of time because he wanted to be able to understand what his clients go through. ( he was always in awesome shape his whole life).

    There are tons of exercise videos for men and WOMEN along with healthy eating receipes.

    Yes, song is in my head now. I am obsessed with moving too, it is these damn Fitbits. I actually try to figure out how to get more stops in my day. I did buy some Kettlebells recently and a workout video. They don't seem to be too hard on the knees, one of the moves, getting down on the floor and the leaping back up - I think I'll skip that one, but most of them seem doable. Hope Mr. Scale is nice to you!
