Hey Restaurants - How About Kid's Portions for Adults?

As I was having lunch today with a friend, I knew when I ordered my lunch, that the portion was too big. I divided it in half and ate just what I wanted. Then rather than taking the rest of it with me, I realized that if restaurants just gave adults a child-sized portion, we could lose weight and eat the good things we like.
How often are you dining out and not able to return home within a reasonable time to take the food home safely? Another thing, why not make kid's portions of good things on the menu, not just chicken fingers and mac & cheese. Kids need to learn how to eat good and tasty food, not just fried junk!
