Rhode Island 2

Friday, May 31, 2013

This is the security building that DH had to sign in at when he first got there. There were 4 big offices all together, spread out.

Another building. He liked the trees.

The computer building, where DH trained.

They had a fountain in the middle of two of the buildings. Walk ways all over, with statues here and there. Very nice. Seemed more like a museum. The fountain didn't have water running yet, since back east is still somewhat cool. I loved the statues they had at the fountain. Two little boys playing with their sail boats.

Another statue right off the sidewalk, and a road.

I loved this one. How fun!

I cropped the picture, so hopefully you can see it a lot better. There is even a dog in the middle of the kids.

Mom and Dad playing with their toddler.

When I first downloaded this picture, I thought it was a University. DH said it is the main building. (He works for a Ins. Co.) They even have a bus top at this place.

My pics for the day. There is a fire about 30 miles from us. The wind was blowing the smoke our way. You can smell the smoke.
Looking up our street.

Shot from our backyard

One of the baby finches.

Henley the Hero

Roses in the backyard.

Front yard roses.

Stay safe everyone!

Wow! Fantastic pictures. The trees were blossomed out so pretty while he was there, definitely the right time to visit! The statues were fascinating and so lifelike. Really adds to the landscape. I think my favorite were the kids and the dog on the log. Your roses are so pretty, too, loved the clusters of them. Thanks so much for sharing, can't wait to see the rest! emoticon emoticon Oh, yes! Hope the fire STAYS at least 30 miles from you! How scary!

    Very Nice Jeanne
I like that little finch but not the smoke, if you can see it it is too close.

The Statues are quite a story and really stand out. A shame to say that if they were here they would have been vandalised before too long, sad.

Sarge look alive and alert, good for him

Almost the weekend and it is going to be a good one.

How lucky for your husband and to get all those perks just to be trained! Do they have any other openings? emoticon My husband also is a computer guy and I would love for him to get back into it and away from the manual labor job which is half killing him at WM! Getting too old for that! And to work at home-Wow-what a great deal!! Rhode Island looks pretty! Glad he likes to take photos like my hubby does! Those statues look like the same artist did them as the one at The Villages we go to. emoticon
