SparkCoach Challenge: Walk This Way
Whether you're a beginner to fitness, a regular walker already, or an advanced exerciser who loves intense workouts, we can all benefit from a little more daily activity. Today's challenge is to help you boost your daily activity with the simplest form of activity: walking. Your goal is to walk for 5-10 continuous minutes. If you already have a workout planned for the day, add this on. If today is a rest day, walk anyway (just keep it light and easy). It can be as leisurely or intense as you'd like it to be. If can be short or long. Let your schedule and energy level dictate your walk today.
Try it midday, after dinner, with your pooch or with a friend. Notice how you feel when it's over--I bet you'll be feeling better than when you started.
