What a great race finish

Today was the Bolder Boulder 10K in Boulder CO. This is the Marines entering the University of Colorado - Boulder football stadium, Folsom FIeld.
The Bolder Boulder was much like other 10k, if a little slower for me due to the altitude. It was also only the second largest in the US at about 50,000, yes, fifty thousand, runners.
I had always considered the end of the Baltimore Marathon/Half Marathon to be the best finish. Coming through the Eutaw Street Plaza with the Warehouse on the left and the baseball file don your right.
But this finish took my already altitude-shortened breath away: you come into a stadium on the field and there are about 30000 people cheering you in. I felt like an athlete or a rock star! I loved it. (My time was 1:07:29.)
Here the Marines come into the house, take their last lap and before they cross the finish line, drop and give us 20.
