This weeks assignment for Shutterbugs is Rural Life. Those of you that know me pretty well, know that is my specialty. I am a country girl at heart. Always have been, and always will be. These pictures were taken 2 days ago. It started off with Donkeys. I love this pair. They are very affectionate, and what personalities. At first they were at the other end of the field, but once they saw me, they walked over for their pet.
Down the road a bit are Chickens and Roosters
I finished up with the pictures of the hens, and got back into our car. Out of nowhere a Goat showed up wondering what I was all about. A Rooster walked over and stood by the goat. I decided to take a picture, but for some reason my camera focused in on the dried flowers along the fence. Still, I liked the way the picture turned out, so here it is.
One of my favorite horses. It isn't always in the lower pasture though. Sometimes we see the herd of horses grazing on the hill.
Old water pump
Raven was hanging around.
On the way home DH pulled off the side of the road. A ways off there is a pasture that usually has Black Angus roaming around, but this time it was mostly Texas Long Horns.
I have more pictures to post. Plus pictures DH took when he was in Rhode Island.
